Well, for Sue and myself, creating Jolly Jacks must be one of the most amazing things we have done. We are in a stunning location right at the Mayflower Marina with breathtaking views right on the Cornish and Devon borders. The sea is right there. We have amazing people from all over Devon who visit us, as well as a friendly group of folks who have their yachts docked. Jolly Jacks is gaining popularity, and we are forever grateful for it. We have changed our lives in such a short time. We relocated from Leicestershire and Wiltshire, left family and friends, to realise our vision for a bar bistro; Jolly Jacks in Plymouth, Devon. After many years of being on their own, two old friends met and began to work together. Call it fate. We are living proof of taking life by the horns, taking risks in these uncertain times, but using our life experience and having fun, a joke, and a lot of laughter along the way. Although it is hard work, we have a lot of fun and enjoy working together. With our family, friends, and new acquaintances, we are living our dream in sunny Devon.
